Hello! I am wondering if we can make FP+ selections between 4 & 7 on the night of a MNSSHP and still not use a regular park admission ticket?

    Hi Mariah,

You have an excellent question about FastPass+, theme park admittance and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  I did some checking and discovered that the answer is one that has some layers to it.

Generally you may enter the Magic Kingdom on the evening of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party anytime after 4:00 pm with your party ticket.  When the party officially gets started at 7:00 pm, the FastPass+ system is no longer used.  Therefore there are FastPass+ selections available for Guests who have Magic Your Way tickets up until the official closing time of the Magic Kingdom.

Your ticket for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at this time does not entitle you to make FastPass+ selections because there is not FastPass+ usage during the party.  Although the current practice is to allow a grace period of time to enter the Magic Kingdom prior to the party starting, your party ticket is for an event which is in contrast to a theme park ticket.  The entitlements of your party tickets are subject to change, however currently you cannot make FastPass+ selection with an event ticket such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets.

However there is good news!  If you choose to start your party early you still may use the standby queues for all of the attractions and rides prior to the start of the party.  I have found that between 5:00 and 7:00 pm on a party evening, the queues are very reasonable.

I hope this answer helps you plan your party strategy for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  Have a Boo-tiful time!  Please let us know if you have any more questions.  We love to help!
