    Hello, I was just wondering if the dates for the 2019 Star Wars half marathon weekend have been released?

    Hi Kristina!

    I'm so delighted you brought your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I just returned from this year's Star Wars Half Marathon and it was unforgettable! The energy of a runDisney race is unlike any other running event. Where else can you run alongside fellow Jedi and Sith lords, meet your favorite droids, and hear some of the most iconic Star Wars music? I also love I can show my creative side and dress up for these events in themed running gear. The highlight this year for me was being able to run through three of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. It's the number one thing that sets these races apart from any other running event and is truly magical.

    Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side will be returning April 4-7, 2019. This is projected to go on sale in the beginning of August 2018. Keep an eye on the runDisney website and by following runDisney on social media for updates regarding this and all other runDisney events.
