A great big planDisney welcome to you, Hilary! I am so happy you came to us with your question about the
Disability Access Service (DAS) program at Disneyland Resort.
While I see that your arrival date for your vacation was earlier this week, I'm hopeful we can get you some information that would be helpful for a future visit. First, you should know that a registered DAS is valid for 60 days or for the length of your ticket, whichever comes first. If your visit occurs outside of this window, or if you are using a new ticket, then you would need to re-register your DAS. Guests now have two options for DAS registration:
DAS Advance which can be completed via live video chat with a Cast Member between 2 and 30 days prior to your visit, and on-site registration which can be done at a
Guest Relations location on the day of your visit.
If you choose to register using
DAS Advance, you'll want to keep these tips in mind before initiating your live video call:
- Live video chat is available between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- Make sure that all the members of your party have a valid admission ticket or pass and theme park reservations linked together to be included in DAS plans
- The Guest who is registering their DAS must be present during the live video chat. If the Guest is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must be present for the virtual registration.
- Remember that all of your visit dates must fall within 2 and 30 days of when the DAS Advance live chat took place.
I hope this has been helpful, Hilary. If ever we can lend any other recommendations for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please come back and see us at
planDisney!
Wishing you a most magical visit,
Tishra
