Hello! I have an upcoming visit to Disneyland & DCA next week and my brother is lactose intolerant. I’d really love to get him some of the holiday meals and treats, do you have any recommendations?

Hello again, Monica! We are so glad you've asked us another great question about holidays at Disneyland Resort.

I love to hear that you want to make sure that your brother has an amazing visit and that he too gets to experience some of the yummy limited-time holiday offerings. One of the things I really love about Disneyland Resort is that they aim to really make sure each and every Guest has a wonderful experience. I have been with different Guests who have food allergies or dietary restrictions and have always been accommodated wonderfully. Some allergy restrictions are laid out in most dining locations' online menus, and I do see some list the egg and dairy allergy-friendly options. You will be able to also see each plant-based option, which would be dairy-free. You are always welcome and encouraged to ask a Cast Member for guidance and they can look up ingredients for you as well.

I recommend heading to the Disneyland app and then tapping on the map. At the top of the map, you will see "Attractions" and if you tap on that title, you can change it to "Dining". When you tap on a dining location, you can view the menu and if you scroll to the bottom of the menu it lists allergy-friendly options. I also recommend checking out the Foodie Guide to Holidays to see the list of all the limited-time offerings throughout the resort, as well as the Foodie Guide to Disney Festival of Holidays to get an idea of what might be an option for your brother.

Did you know that Dole Whips are dairy-free? That was one of the most exciting revelations for my daughter when she was vegan and I always love trying the holiday seasonal option!

Monica, thanks again for bringing us another question. I hope you have the most magical time with your family!

I love helping my friends plan memorable trips to Disneyland Resort and can't wait to help you too! Learn More About Carrie
