Hello- I understand there are some changes to fast pass tiers effective August 29. Can I get some details on that please? Thank you!

Thanks for visiting here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carol! You've asked a great question!

As Disney's Hollywood Studios counts down to the highly anticipated opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge next month, Guests are noticing some changes to the Park's FastPass+ tiers. The most significant difference is that most rides now fall into Tier 1, while Tier 2 consists of mainly show-based attractions.  After August 29, the new tiering structure will be as follows:

Tier 1: Guests can select only one attraction
    *Alien Swirling Saucers
*Rock' n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
    *Slinky Dog Dash
*The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
    *Toy Story Mania!

    Tier 2:
*Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage
    *Disney Junior Dance Party
*For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
    *Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!
    *Muppet*Vision 3D
    *Voyage of The Little Mermaid
    *Star Tours

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run will not be a part of FastPass+ when it opens. Also worth noting is that extra, Extra Magic Hours will be offered every day in Disney's Hollywood Studios from September 1 to November 2, 2019, 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM daily for Guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. I'd recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for up to date information.

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
