Hello, I have two questions: Are the extra park hours for resort guests generally on the same day of the week? Does the world showcase at Epcot open at Rope drop? i.e. does the frozen ever after show open at park opening? Than you!

    Hi Amy,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Yes, generally speaking, the Extra Magic Hours — both morning and evening — follow a regular schedule. The schedule offers Extra Magic Hours for different theme parks on different days of the week. Another way of saying it is that Extra Magic Hour offerings are offered one at one time — morning or evening — at one of the theme parks. Extra Magic Hour are not scheduled for every day.

You can check out the specific theme park schedules, including Extra Magic Hour schedules, using the online park hours calendar. You can choose to view the calendar in a daily view, in a 5 day view, or in a month view.

Epcot World Showcase typically opens at 11 a.m.Walking the World Showcase and touring the country pavilions during the early opening hours is one of my favorite experiences at Epcot. I discover something I had not seen before in the pavilions — an architectural detail or magical flourish — every time I walk through a country.

Frozen Ever After, the thrill ride attraction in the Norway Pavilion, operates during regular park hours as well as during Extra Magic Hours.

Amy, please feel free to visit us here at Disney Parks Moms Panel with any more questions you might have as you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. We are here to help and happy to do so!

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
