Hello Kaitlin! How exciting that you are planning a family vacation to the "Happiest Place on Earth"!
I would start your planning with exploring the
Vacation Packages that the Disneyland Resort has to offer. If you purchase a Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package, it will include accommodations at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels, as well as theme park tickets for 2-5 days with admission to one park per day, either
Disneyland Park, or
Disney California Adventure Park. You can also upgrade your theme park tickets to Park Hopper tickets for admission to both parks in one day for an additional fee. It is very easy to park hop in one day since both theme parks are located so close together!
Kaitlin, after you have your hotel and
theme park tickets secured, you will need to make a
theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit the parks. You will want to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar since park reservations do have limited availability, and secure those as soon as possible.
My next recommendation is to prioritize and explore which activities and magical experiences your family will want to enjoy! You can view the list of
attractions and entertainment that both theme parks have to offer on the Disneyland website, and you can also make
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance as well.
My family's favorite attraction for Disney fans of all ages is
Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland Park, and I always recommend a visit to
Cars Land in Disney California Adventure Park! You can also catch the neon lights turn on in Cars Land at sunset every evening, it is truly magical!
I hope you and your family have a magical trip this November Kaitlin!
