    hello, I am trying to make a choice between staying at the beach club or the Polynesian ? I cant decide. I do love the beach club and have stayed there before. I have never stayed at Polynesian. this trip will be just me and my husband. thanks

    Welcome back, Colleen! 

    I'm excited to be answering your question today because Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are my two absolute favorite resort hotels! Given it's just you and your husband this trip, I'd selected Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Here's why:

    • As you mentioned, you've had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort before. Now is your chance to go from a New England Seaside to the beaches of the islands. 

    • The bathroom design at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (not Disney Vacation Club Villa rooms) are not very family-friendly with the sinks, shower and commode all in the same space. 

    • Trader Sam's Grog Grotto is the ultimate adult-only destination for drinks and a little entertainment. Those under the age of 18 are not permitted in this space after 8pm.

    • Romantic strolls along Seven Seas Lagoon on the pathway between the Poly and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

    • Full view of Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks spectacular. After all, I'm sure you're both still kids at heart. 

    • Hopping on the Monorail to visit and explore other resorts will never be easier than just you and your Prince Charming.
