Hello! I am trying to book a room for 3 at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa in July, but i just get a notice to check back later. Am i doing something wrong? Regards Johan

    Hello, Johan!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I recently returned from a stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and I'm happy to answer your question. With its Craftsman-style decor and proximity to the theme parks, it is one of my favorite places to stay! It's also home to one of the best restaurants on property in my opinion - GCH Craftsman Grill. One morning, I shared the Brioche French Toast and Breakfast Burrito with my family. Both were incredible!

I just tried making a reservation for July 2024, and it did show availability for most room categories at this time. Maybe Stitch was messing with the Disneyland Resort website, but he seems to have given up for now! I suggest trying again to make your reservations. If you run into any issues, you can also call Disneyland directly to book your hotel reservations.

While planning your trip, I suggest reviewing which table service restaurants you want to enjoy during your visit. Dining reservations are generally available up to 60 days in advance. Lamplight Lounge and Storyteller's Cafe are two of my favorite restaurants!

Did you know that Pixar Fest is returning to Disneyland just in time for your trip, from April 26 through August 4, 2024? I'm most looking forward to the new daytime parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!". I'm also excited that "Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” is returning with some all-new scenes!

Johan, I appreciate you contacting us at planDisney. We hope to see you real soon!
