Hello! I am trying to book character dining for the 1st January but it’s telling me I am too early. Could you help me out as to when/if this will become available to book? My 2 year old is a Mickey super fan and really don’t want to miss out on this one!

    Bienvenue à planDisney, Abbie!

It sounds like you’re gathering your favorite Mouseketeers for a visit to Disneyland Paris to welcome the new year. How glorious!

I love chatting about character dining! In my family, it’s always a highlight—not just for the tasty treats (although that’s a bonus!) but for the excitement of having the characters come right to our table. No need to search the park; they come to you, making each meal feel like a mini celebration!

I’m not sure which location you’re most excited about, but if you have a Mickey fan in your cast of characters, the Plaza Gardens Restaurant. You’ll find Mickey and Friends making appearances, along with some lovable pals from Winnie the Pooh. Depending on the season, other friendly faces might join the fun, too!

I just checked the reservations page, and there’s availability for a table of four at Plaza Gardens up until January 12th, which is around 60 days out. Dining reservations at Disneyland Paris typically open about two months in advance, but for popular spots like Plaza Gardens, they may release a bit later. So, if you don’t see what you’re hoping for right away, it’s a good idea to check back!

Well Abbie, I hope this is as helpful as those adorable mice and birds who helped Cinderella get ready for the ball! Just like her Fairy Godmother, I’m always here if you have another question.
