Welcome to
planDisney, Lisa!
Did your part of Ohio get as much snow as we did this week?! Lucky for you, it looks like you'll soon be escaping our winter wonderland to enjoy the sun and fun of
Walt Disney World Resort! The
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing - I can't wait for you to experience everything new!
Currently, you are not able to add a Disney gift card as a
saved Payment Method in
My Disney Experience, but don't fret, you can still use a Disney gift card as a method of payment at most check-out screens! Whether you are paying for a snack using
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering at Satu'li Canteen or grabbing an
Individual Lightning Lane selection for Space Mountain, you'll be set.
Keep in mind that you can currently only use one Disney gift card per transaction. When I have several gift cards, I always like to
consolidate or merge the balances all onto one single card to make things a bit easier during my trip. You can do so easily by creating an account at DisneyGiftCard.com and visiting the My Cards link. Add your cards, then follow the on-screen instructions for transferring funds. Note that you must transfer the full balance of a card, and a Disney gift card balance can't exceed $1,000 - so if you have a lot of Disney dough, you might still need more than one card.
I hope this helps, and be sure to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience App and the
Disney Parks Blog for any changes to Payment Methods. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to
reach out to me.
Have a magical trip!
Ryan J.
