Hiya, Tiniya!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so very glad that you stopped by with your question. This spring is an incredibly popular time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth and even I have been quite surprised at how quickly
Disney Park Pass reservation availability changes. This is such a great question! What does one do when the must-do park of the day is no longer accepting new reservations?
I am sad to report that there is not a waitlist option for
Disney Park Pass reservations. But there are a few tips and options that I can share with you to help you continue to plan the trip you envisioned. My first tip is to book a reservation at any of the theme parks that still have availability for each of your ticket dates. Not being able to visit your top spot is definitely a bit of a bummer, but not being able to enter any park can take you from Joy to Sadness in a matter of minutes! Currently, I am seeing availability for at least one park almost every day in April. But this can change quickly. So, don't delay- make a backup reservation right away!
Okay, let's talk about how to visit the park on your list when you didn't get that initial reservation. You can continue to check the availability calendar until your park date arrives. There are no guarantees that a reservation will open up, but it never hurts to check! The best option for entering each park in this particular situation is to add the
Park Hopper Option for your upcoming adventure. This ticket upgrade can give you access to any of the four theme parks after 2 PM. There are a few notes to keep in mind. You must enter the initial park that you made a reservation for before hopping on to the next one. If your reservation is at EPCOT, you will need to enter the park before heading to Magic Kingdom Park. I like to think of situations like this as a bonus opportunity to squeeze even more magic into my day. You can take a thrilling ride on Test Track and grab some amazing food from World Showcase before heading to Main Street U.S.A. for fireworks. The second thing I want to mention is that although Park Hopper offers amazing flexibility, it is not a guarantee to enter a select park. If a theme park reaches its capacity limit you will receive a real-time push notification through the
My Disney Experience mobile app that the park is temporarily unavailable. Although this is rare, it can happen.
I hope that these tips help you to continue to plan the best trip ever!
We'll see ya real soon!
