Lola from BC Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello…I tried to make reservations for Droid Depot 60+4 days as a resort guest but there is no availability at all from now until late August. Is it very low numbers of advance reservations offered? Is there another way to reserve? Thanks.

    Bright suns, Lola!

Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place in the galaxy! I was so excited when I saw a fellow Canadian in our queue, and I am thrilled that you will be visiting Batuu soon. As you already seem organized, a droid sounds like the perfect addition to your planning journey. Wouldn't it be so great if they could clear our driveways during the winter too? Maybe someday!

The Droid Depot is a popular activity, and since Guests staying at Resort hotels can book up to 60 days in advance and for the length of their stay (up to ten days), availability may have been booked up for the summer. However, there are a few things that you can do to try and get your new droid friend! First, check for availability regularly on the Walt Disney World website. It is possible for more availability to be released, so keep an eye on the reservation system. Similarly, reservations for all kinds of experiences often open up the week before a visit due to last-minute cancellations, so check the website in the weeks and days leading up to your visit. Lastly, you can join a walk-in list on the day of your visit, although it is subject to availability. Simply go to the Droid Depot early in the day and ask to be added to the walk-up list. If all fails, a few droid friends are also available in stores such as Disney & Co.

If you are looking for other galactic souvenirs, check out the Black Spire Outpost market while on Batuu. Looking for a new cape to avoid getting recognized by Stormtroopers? Black Spire Outfitters has you covered (no pun intended). Need another friend to go along with your droid? Visit the Creature Stall! And the best part is you can stop by Ronto Roasters or Kat Saka's Kettle for a quick snack during your shopping trip. If you are looking to try a new treat, I highly recommend getting the Cold Brew Black Caf from Kat Saka's Kettle, which finally arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort after being a hit at the Disneyland Resort. If you are not a big coffee drinker, the Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters is a must-get among Disney fans!

I hope this was helpful, Lola, and that you and your fellow recruits will have the best day ever on your next intergalactic trip to Batuu. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always happy to help fellow friends of the resistance!

May the force be with you,
