Hello! I am traveling to WDW in May and I am curious if we are able to bring in our own water bottles or travel mugs into the park? Also if we are able to bring those items in, will they need to be empty before entering parks?

    Hi Kayla!

This is a great question and as a planner, I love that you are asking. We always bring our own water into the parks. It's not only a great way to save money, but we also love not having to wait in line to get a drink when we are thirsty so it's also a timesaver!

As long as you are not bringing glass or alcohol into the parks, you may bring whatever quenches your thirst! You may hold these items or pack them in a small soft-sided cooler. And feel free to throw a few snacks in too if you like!

Just remember that if you plan to bring your drink in a refillable mug from your Disney Resort Hotel, free refills are not available in the parks. For a list of prohibited items, feel free to check out this FAQ.

I hope this helps you plan ahead, Kayla. Wishing you a magical vacation!
