Hello. I am a teacher from Tauranga Boys College located in New Zealand. We are going to take around 30 students (ages 16 - 18) and 5 staff over to your side of the world next year on a Digital Technology school trip. Is there someone to talk with to plan?

Hiya, The, and welcome to planDisney

What an awesome adventure you and your school are going to embark on next year! I’m so excited for you all to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort during your school trip.

The perfect place for you to start is the Disney Imagination Campus website. Here, you’ll find tons of information to help you start planning your visit. Here’s the specific link to the Disneyland Resort Planning Resources (known as the West Campus). I recommend looking at the Science & Technology page, which discusses the curriculum. In this program, students will learn from Disney Imagineering how science and technology are used to create attractions like Space Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. How amazing is that?! Choose from workshops like “Physics of Disney Parks” and “Technology of Disney Parks” for an unforgettable learning experience.

I’m happy to report that the Disneyland Resort offers special group rates for youth organizations. To qualify for this group rate, you’ll need at least 10 Guests between the ages of 3 and 22. So, with 30 teenage students, it sounds like you have that covered! With this special rate, you’ll receive one complimentary chaperone ticket for every 10 students. So, your group would qualify for three complimentary chaperone tickets. The ordering instructions state that ticket orders must be submitted and paid in full at least 60 days prior to your departure date to ensure they’re delivered on time.

To help you get started, you can fill out this handy questionnaire to provide information about your group, so a Disney Youth Programs representative can contact you with program details, pricing, and availability. You can also call 00-1-321-939-7560 for additional questions you may have.

I hope this information helps you get on your way to planning an educational, magical adventure to remember!

    Happy planning,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
