Hello, I am surprising my 2 & 7 year old children with a trip to Disney this year. We will be there from Dec 14-20. What are the crowds normally like & what kind of weather will we generally run into? Thanks!

Hi Sarah!  I love a surprise...especially a Disney surprise!  In my opinion, you will actually be vacationing at a perfect time during the holiday season.  The crowds should be very manageable as they don't pick up to peak levels until you get closer to the actual holiday.  The weather should be lovely - in the 70's, perhaps low 80's with little rain.  You'll want to pack a jacket for the cooler evenings.  I'm sure your children will want to swim but don't worry, the pools should be heated enough where they'll be able to.

Be sure to take some time to enjoy the holiday decorations!  My favorite resorts to visit during this time are the Grand Floridian and the Beach Club.  I hope your vacation is truly magical!
