Hello, I will be staying at the Rosen inn international and am trying to plan what time we will have to leave the hotel to be at the four main parks for rope drop. Can you help? We have hired out a car. Many thanks for your help.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie!

Getting to the theme parks early is a fantastic way to make the most of your days at Walt Disney World Resort. Since the crowds are generally lighter early in the morning, you should be able to enjoy some of the most popular attractions with shorter wait times. I took a look at Google maps and it looks like it will take approximately 20-25 minutes to drive from your hotel to each of the parks. I would recommend leaving additional time to navigate from the parking lot to the front of the gate. In the case of Magic Kingdom, this will include a monorail or ferry ride. At the other parks, this will be either a tram ride or a short walk to the gate. To allow yourself plenty of time to get through the gates and be near the front of the entrance line, I would suggest leaving the hotel 60-90 minutes prior to park opening. That time waiting for the park to open is the perfect time to enjoy a cup of coffee and map out a plan for your day!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
