Hi Nadia,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow Canadian! Until very recently, I was an exclusive tea drinker too, so I totally understand your question, and think it’s so kind of you to want to be sure your sister-in-law can have her cup of tea just as she likes it while on vacation.
Here’s some great news to sip on: you’ll find Earl Grey tea at the
End Zone Food Court at
Disney’s All Star-Sports Resort. If you’ll have Resort Refillable Mugs, you’ll just need to stop by the beverage island – there you’ll find an assortment of teas, including Earl Grey, and hot water, plus sugar and other condiments. I like milk in my tea, and in my experience, Cast Members are happy to get some milk for you if asked. I’ve also been able to get lemon and honey, depending on the location.
In the theme parks, she should be able to find Earl Grey tea at Starbucks and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea locations. Hot tea is also available at most Table-Service locations, and may be available at some Counter Service locations as well.
Nadia, there are three experiences at Walt Disney World that make my tea-loving heart so happy, and I think your sister-in-law will enjoy them too:
-
Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room is a lovely multi-course tea experience in the gorgeous, Victorian-themed tea room at
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. My daughter and I loved the tea sandwiches and treats at our tea, and there was a fantastic selection. It made for a very special afternoon, and one we won’t soon forget.
-
The Tea Caddy shop in the United Kingdom Pavilion, located in Epcot’s World Showcase, has all kinds of teas, tea accessories, and fun British treats. Right across the way,
Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room offers a Tea Experience, where Guest can learn about teas and steeping a delightful cuppa.
-The Royal Anandapur Tea Company is a small kiosk in the Asia section of
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This tiny shop isn’t listed on the park map, but is close to the exit of
Kali River Rapids, and has a fantastic selection of loose teas. My family always stops here for a quiet cup of tea in a lovely setting – and they also sell delicious donuts!
I hope this helps your sister-in-law find the perfect cup of tea. I’m raising my pinky finger in a toast to my fellow tea-drinker, and sending you all my very best wishes for a wonderful family vacation. ChEARs!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
