Hello, I saw where you can rent golf carts for the Cabins at Fort Wilderness, my question is when you call to reserve one do they just take your information or do you need to pay for the cart up front in full or with a deposit? Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Taryn!

You will just love The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! You are correct, your Disney Resort is rather large, so you can rent a golf cart to get around! This way, you can save all your walking for inside the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. In order to make a reservation, simply call a friendly Cast Member who will take down your information, including a valid credit card for a hold, but you will not be charged a deposit fee nor have to pay until you retrieve your cart.

Since you are staying at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, I have to recommend the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Dinner Show. This is one of my all time favorite family-friendly experiences. This interactive show will get you laughing and the family-style meal (which comes with alcohol, if you are so inclined), is “beary” good (I promise this is a funny joke if you haven’t seen the show).

Have a magical time and come back soon,
