    Hello, I saw the perfect magic band this morning that I need to order for my princess that has been dealing with medical issues this year. It was the “princess strong” band. When I went to order it this afternoon it was gone! What happened?

    I'm so glad that you stopped by with your question about MagicBands. The Princess Strong Pre-Arrival Exclusive MagicBand sounds like it has a strong deserving princess wrist waiting for it!

    Just to make sure all of our bases are covered, I am going to make the assumption that when you refer to ordering the MagicBand, you are referring to the pre-arrival process to order through your My Disney Experience account. While shopDisney does offer a selection of MagicBands, the Princess Strong MagicBand is a Pre-Arrival Exclusive and thus you would not have seen it on shopDisney.

    From my own experience, I can tell you that the selection and availability of MagicBand styles can vary quite a bit. I mention that to acknowledge your experience of seeing this particular MagicBand available at one point in time and then not at another. In what is hopefully good news, I was just offered the Princess Strong MagicBand as a choice for a trip I have upcoming in March when I investigated, but when I tried for a different trip, it was not one of the options shown. My hope is that what you and I both experienced was just a Stitch glitch in the system and that you'll soon be able to see that option again!

    You may want to try logging completely out of your My Disney Experience Account and then starting fresh. Log back in and click My MagicBands and Cards under the My Disney Experience menu. You should then see a Get Started (or Edit Order) button associated with your upcoming Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay. From there, you'll select the member of your party to pick a MagicBand - I always like to click the Grid View button to see all of my options at once!

    I suggest checking back every once in a while to see if that particular MagicBand pops up. Alternatively, you may try calling and speaking to a Cast Member to see if they can assist you on the hunt for your brave Mouseketeer's new MagicBand!
