Hi there, Jeanie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! And, YAY for booking the upcoming Disney Vacation Club Members Only Voyage! Since I have yet to convince my husband that we need to becoming
Disney Vacation Club members (he’s perfectly content with increasing his Disney Cruise Line voyage count) I have not been on a members only cruise but have heard fantastic reviews. We always try to attend the Disney Vacation Club information sessions onboard, giving us a chance to contemplate membership and talk to a number of members and they always say what an amazing time they’ve had on the members only cruises!!
On the final morning in Vancouver, disembarkation will usually begin after the ship has been cleared by the local Port Authorities. Assuming no significant delays, Guests that choose to do Express Walk-Off, taking their own luggage with them from their stateroom can usually begin disembarking around 7:30-8:00AM. If you plan on leaving your luggage outside the stateroom the night before for the stateroom hosts to transfer to the port terminal for you then you will need to wait until your specific character-coded luggage tag is called. They usually begin announcing those around 8:00 or 8:30AM. The goal is to get all Guests off the ship as early as possible, but definitely by 9:30 or 10:00AM so that they Cast Members can begin preparing the ship for the next group of Guests arriving onboard later that day! After disembarking, you will need to go through Customs and Immigration so you will want to account for that extra time when planning your return trip home.
Wishing you a
WONDERful adventure at sea with Captain Mickey!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
