Hello! I would like to register for the 2018 Walt Disney World Half Marathon (first time travelling from Canada!). Do I book my stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel separately or is there an option to book concurrently with the run registration? Thanx!

    Hi Pau-Lin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm excited for you to take part in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! Don't delay registering because this event in 2018 will be celebrating a couple anniversaries and I imagine the race will sell out soon.

At this time, there is not a way to book your hotel and register for the race concurrently. The race registrations are managed through Active.com, while your resort reservation will go directly through Walt Disney World. While the travel packages for Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend have not been released yet online, you can book over the phone by calling 407-939-iRun. Based on past years, I'd guess the prices for 2018 packages will not be available until early summer. When you call you'll be booking a room only reservation, which you can then change to a package which will include your theme park tickets and dining plan at a later time if you'd like.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
