Hello, I recently purchased a annual pass (Disney Platinum Pass) I was booking my room and it allowed me to book a passholder room rate. I just wanted to double check that the type of annual pass I have allows me to receive this room discount.

    Hi Michael,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Passholder family! There are so many awesome benefits of being a passholder, and the resort discounts are among the top. As a Platinum passholder, you absolutely are entitled to that discount plus many others.

Because you are new to being a passholder, Michael, I recommend that you take a thorough look at all the discounts and benefits. Through September 30, 2017, the discounts are even greater as 45 restaurants offer 20 percent off in celebration of Magic Kingdom's 45th anniversary. Plus you'll get a 20 percent discount on merchandise through September.

Did you know, too, that you are entitled to discounts on a number of tours and special events? A couple of my favorites: the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom, the Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom and the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure at Fort Wilderness.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michael, Please let us know if you have any more questions about planning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation or the joys of being a Disney passholder. Enjoy!
