Hi, Carmen, and welcome back to planDisney! You're just a few months away from visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I cannot be more thrilled for you! But first, let's talk about
Online Check-In.
I have some good news for you. Completing Online Check-In does not forfeit any other policy, including the cancellation policy, which was likely provided in your confirmation email. By completing Online Check-In, you'll save time when you arrive because you won't have to visit the front desk to do it. You'll be able to note your room requests (which aren't guaranteed), add a credit card for items charged to your room like merchandise and dining and select your PIN for purchases. You'll also provide a phone number and email address where you can be reached prior to and during your trip. This is where you'll note your expected arrival time as well.
I, personally, like to complete Online Check-In as soon as I can, often when I book my trip. This allows me to check one thing off my list so I'm not scrambling at the last minute trying to get it done. Then, when you arrive, you can go straight to your room using
Direct-to-Room Service, if it's ready. If it's not, leave your bags with Bell Services, and start having fun. Once you have your flights all sorted, you can modify Online Check-In through your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, if needed.
Carmen, I couldn't help but notice you'll be arriving near the end of
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, happening from March 4 to June 1. Perhaps you'll want to make time to see the beautiful topiaries, enjoy some exclusive food and beverage options at the Outdoor Kitchens or even take in a show from the Garden Rocks Concert Series.
I hope you have a wonderful time, and please bring any other questions you have back to us here at planDisney.
Have a magical trip!
Melanie
