Hello,I just read that the Festival of Fantasy parade is at 2 PM. We have lunch reserved at Crystal Palace at 2:25 PM. Will we be able to catch the parade and make it on time to lunch?

Hello Janella! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It sounds as though your day at Magic Kingdom is set up to be full of Endless Magic. The Festival of Fantasy Parade and Character Dining at The Crystal Palace are 2 experiences that are filled to the brim with wonder and merriment.

As far as your timing is concerned, you should be fine to enjoy the Festival of Fantasy Parade in its entirety before retiring for a fine buffet meal with Winnie the Pooh and Friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood at The Crystal Palace. Since The Crystal Palace sits along the parade route, the moment Mickey and Minnie close out the Parade, all you will have to do is turn around and Check-In with a Cast Member.

As the Festival of Fantasy Parade begins in Frontierland before making its way through Liberty Square and Main Street, U.S.A., you could always find a parade-viewing spot in Frontierland and make your way through Adventureland upon completion. This will save you about 5 minutes as the Parade makes its way through Magic Kingdom.

The only warning I provide is not to view the Festival of Fantasy Parade on Main Street, U.S.A., especially Town Square for your specific plans. Not only is this the last area the Parade passes by, but the congestion will make it difficult to make your way to The Crystal Palace once everyone gets up to leave.

    Have a Magical Day!
