Hi, Devon!
I am so glad to hear you had such an incredible experience during the 2014 Disney Princess Half Marathon that you are planning to run it again-- and this time with your fellow princess friends.
Here are some of my suggestions for making this a truly enchanting weekend fit for a princess.
Splurges:
- Tea time at the
Garden View Tea Room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Delight in a traditional afternoon tea service as you relish in the elegant and charming ambiance of this stately tea room.
-Enjoy a post-race meal at
Cinderella's Royal Table. Wear your medals and tiaras and feast on a fairytale meal while Disney Princesses stop by your table to congratulate you on a race well run.
Budget conscience ideas:
- Attend the Happily Ever After Party at Downtown Disney®. Relax and celebrate as you enjoy food, music and the chance to purchase any last minute commemorative items. The best part, this party is free!
Top suggestion:
-Pasta in the Park Party. Held in Epcot, this delicious pasta buffet dinner offers the chance for you to engage with your fellow princesses as a DJ spins great music, you interact with Disney characters and have a reserved viewing location during Illuminations: Reflections of Earth, Epcot's nighttime fireworks spectacular.
These are just a few ideas to get you started, Devon. Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare for the
2015 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend.
Happy Planning!
