Hello, I had to push this year´s vacation to January 2021 due to Covid situation. When can I make dining reservations? Character dining will be available next year? Thanks

    Hi Andrea!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for stopping by with your question.  I'm so excited for the phased reopening of Walt Disney World!  January is a lovely time to visit Walt Disney World resort and the weather at that time of the year is usually mild and Magical.

Currently you may begin making advanced dining reservations 60 days in advance of your vacation.  Here is a link for FAQ Reservation Window to help you with your planning.  Keep in mind that as of today, dining reservations may only be made online (not through the app) and are subject to change as we move further into the reopening.  I suggest bookmarking Returning to a World of Magic and check it periodically for the most up to date information for visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks.

As far as Character Dining availability for next year, unfortunately my crystal ball has been very murky for when these treasured experiences will return.  However - good news!  I recently discovered Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort has a storybook dining experience for breakfast which is currently available for reservations.  This is a new type of Character Dining experience in which Guests will be able to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy parade through the restaurant in their stylish European Riviera inspired artists outfits.  I personally cannot wait to experience Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends!

Please stop by again with any further questions, we love to help!
