Hello I purchased a weekday select pass a few months ago (before they announced the new passes) but won't be activating it until May. Now that the weekday select is no longer an option will I receive the pixie pass when I activate it?

Hey there, Elizabeth, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with a great question!

May is almost here, which means that you’ll be activating your Annual Pass in a few short weeks! I recommend reviewing the Annual Pass availability calendar because some of the Theme Parks are starting to fill up for May weekdays. You can use the availability calendar to time your Annual Pass activation just right and ensure that you can get Disney Park Pass Reservations for your desired visit days.

I confirmed with a Cast Member that your pass will automatically update to the Disney Pixie Dust Pass at activation since the Weekday Select pass is no longer offered. The Pixie Dust Pass is still a great option - although I wouldn’t personally know because we non-Floridians are currently getting the Annual Pass sales cold shoulder by Disney World. But I’m not salty or anything! The Pixie Dust Pass includes Standard Theme Park Parking, discounts on Dining and Merch, and much more. But as you know, many of the weekends and holidays are blockout dates for the Pixie Dust Pass. If you are planning to visit during blockout dates, I recommend reviewing the Florida Resident Special Offers to see what’s all available. Our goal is to make sure you get into the parks and make those special memories!

I hope this helps, Elizabeth! Your Walt Disney World vacation is calling!

    Until Next Time,
