Hello! I purchased my park tickets in 2020, and although they originally were linked to my My Disney Experience account, they will now no longer link. Would appreciate assistance resolving this issue. Thanks! - Jennifer C.

Hey howdy hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!

Oh my, 2020 was a crazy year! So many things changing and evolving so quickly and many unprecedented actions from many big organizations such as with Walt Disney World Resort that it was really hard to keep track of everything. So, let's talk about these 2020 tickets.

Usually with Theme Park tickets purchased for Walt Disney World, you will select a date on which to purchase as tickets are priced differently for the day and month that you are going. You have full ability to modify the dates you can use the tickets but will be charged the difference if you change the date to a more expensive day. The other thing with tickets is they have an expiration date on them and as that expiration date passes, they usually fall off of your My Disney Experience Account after that time. Now, that being said, Walt Disney World has been notorious for honoring the amount that you paid on the tickets and applying the cost of expired tickets towards the purchase of new tickets. You will have to call Guest Services at (407) 934-7639 and talk to a Cast Member to help you through this process. If you have your original confirmation email you will need the confirmation number that is in the email for easier access or your credit card number that was associated with the purchase.

Good luck in getting the new tickets and planning your next trip to Walt Disney World. We look forward to welcoming you back real soon!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
