Hello, I have purchased Disney Gift Cards to manage my spending for my family and myself at WDW. I would like to link them to my Disney Bands. Is this possible, and if so how can I link a gift card to the bands? Sincerely, Laura

    Hi, Laura!

I hope you've had a magical vacation! I also hope this information will help you during your future Walt Disney World® Resort visits.

I purchase Disney Gift Cards along the way to help save for our vacations as well, but I also like being able to use my MagicBand for convenience to pay for our incidentals. Here is my strategy for being able to manage both:

    • You'll need to link a valid credit card to your My Disney Experience Account to activate your MagicBand for charges as Disney Gift Cards cannot yet be linked to your account.

    • Use your MagicBand to pay for dining, merchandise, snacks, whatever you need! You can then stop by the front desk of your Walt Disney World® Resort hotel to pay down your account with your Disney Gift Cards. It's that easy!

    • Another great tip, if you find yourself with multiple Disney Gift Cards, check out disneygiftcard.com. This site allows you to manage your gift cards by consolidating all balances onto just one card.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions, Laura. You can reach out to me directly!
