Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Michael! I'm glad you've stopped by to chat about your new Walt Disney World Annual Pass.
I've been a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for years now, Michael, and absolutely love it. Being able to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks practically whenever I'd like is so fun. Plus all of the discounts on food, merchandise and complimentary theme park parking are great perks too! It's a really great program that I see myself using for years to come.
Michael, the expiration date that is one year from your purchase date is how long you have to activate your Walt Disney World Annual Pass. If you don't end up activating your Walt Disney World Annual Pass within the year timeframe that you are given, the amount that you paid for the unused annual pass certificate can be applied to the purchase of a new Walt Disney World Annual Pass. When you do use your Walt Disney World Annual Pass for the first time, you will see a new expiration date reflected in your
MyDisneyExperience account. The new expiration date will be one year from the date of your first use.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had over your new Walt Disney World Annual Pass, Michael. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and I hope you enjoy a year full of magic!
