Ahoy there, Lislijanti. Thanks for taking the time to sail to planDisney with your question for us.
What sets Disney Cruise Line apart, in my humble opinion, are the crew members aboard the Disney ships. They all go “to infinity and beyond” to make sure Guests have a truly magical experience. Lislijanti, you can prepay gratuities up to 3 days prior to your sailing on the
Disney Cruise Line website. Near the top, you will see a tab that says “Already Booked”. Select “My Reservations”, log into your account, then scroll down the page a bit and click on “Add Pre-Paid Gratuities”. Prepaying gratuity ahead of your sailing means one less thing to worry about once you’re on the ship.
We also bring extra cash in the form of small bills with us when we cruise.
Room service is mostly complimentary, and we like to order a carafe of hot coffee to be delivered in the morning to enjoy while getting ready for a fun-filled day. (Or my children randomly wanting a Mickey ice cream bar!) We tip the room service steward with some small bills. Near the end of your sailing, your stateroom steward will place several envelopes on your bed during evening turn-down service. Though it is not mandatory to give extra gratuity to your dining room or stateroom stewards, you have the opportunity to do so if you wish!
Please don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again if you have more trip-planning questions.
Bon voyage,
Kiki
