Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alicia. We're so glad you stopped by!
The option of
renting a stroller at the theme parks is super convenient for families traveling with little ones in tow. Guests can simply pick up a stroller at the entrance of the park and return it at the end of the day! To answer your question, the strollers available for rent are a hard, molded plastic and not really suitable for babies who aren't independently sitting.
My family always brings our double stroller along on our Disney vacations. We own a City Mini Double, and we've found it to be the perfect stroller for pixie-dusted adventures in the theme parks! The seats recline completely flat making it the perfect spot for an infant to snooze. I also love that the shades are extra-large for protection from that warm Orlando sun. The City Mini Double folds quickly and easily, which makes boarding a Disney bus a breeze! If you choose to bring your own stroller, just be sure that it meets the
size guidelines before leaving home.
I like having my stroller on hand while we're getting through the airport on the way to and from our Disney vacations, but if you'd prefer not to travel with it, you have other rental options in Orlando. There are many independent companies that rent strollers to Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. ScooterBug, Disney's Featured Provider, will even deliver a stroller right to your Disney Resort hotel!
I hope this was helpful, Alicia. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling to the
Walt Disney World Resort with littles ones in tow!
