    Hello, I am planning our very first trip to DW. My husband and i are bringing our 2 year old Princess. If i made reservations for a year from now and Disney had an offer for Free Dining plan as it got closer, would we miss out or would they reimburse us?

    Hello Indira!

    It's always smart to book your vacations far in advance. making those early reservations,takes the worry out of at least having a room. But what happens when you make a reservation and then a discount magically appears?

    When there is a discount for a resort, you will have an opportunity to change your reservation. My first suggestion is to make the reservation now for a "Room Only" reservation. That way, you can later make any cancelations or additions.

    If you make your reservation as a "Package", it may be a bit tricky to change the reservation in the future. Next year, if new discounts are released prior to your vacation, you should be able to take advantage of the discounts by starting a new one and canceling the original reservation. There are typically only a few rooms available under the discounted rates so it's best to call as early as possible when you see the discounts posted. To make changes to your reservation, it's best to do this with a Disney Cast Member through the resort line at (407) 939-1936.
