    Rasha from CA Asked

Hello, I am planning to buy the california resident tickets for me and family members who are coming in to town to visit the park with me, what do I need to bring to show that I am a resident. my address on my account reflects my california address??

Hi Rasha! Welcome to planDisney! We just love helping fellow Guests plan their days at the Happiest Place on Earth, and it looks like you are arriving very soon! Your family will love sharing these very magical moments together!

I'm so glad to hear you have discovered the Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer. With this 3-day ticket, you will have plenty of time to experience all there is to see and do at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. I love that it is a one park per day weekday ticket so you can really take your time and explore every nook each park has to offer - you never know what kind of pixie dust you might find! And being a local definitely has its perks! Since you don't have to use these on consecutive days, you're able to look into your magic lamp just like the Genie and see what kind of exciting things are coming to the Disneyland Resort!

This offer is a special one just for Southern California Residents who reside in certain zip codes (90000-93599). While you are able to purchase up to five tickets, each Guest will be asked to show proof of residency in the form of a valid government-issued ID to enter the parks. If your family also resides in these zip codes, you are good to go! If not, they will not be admitted to the parks with these specific tickets.

I also wanted to put in a friendly reminder that all Guests will need a theme park reservation in addition to a valid ticket. Reservations can be made at the time of purchase or even if you already have a ticket in hand. You can always take a glance at current availability on the theme park reservation calendar. These can be canceled and rescheduled, and if you don't see what you're looking for, we encourage you to check back as Guests are always changing their plans and reservations can open up!

As someone that has traveled to the parks with a large family in tow, I have a few tips and tricks to help your day flow smoothly. First and foremost, you're going to want to have the Disneyland Mobile App ready to go. If you are the planner in your family, you can link everyone's tickets within your account. I always like to collect everyone's top two must-see and dos. This will help structure your day and ensure everyone feels like they got their own piece of the magic. Definitely play around in the app ahead of your arrival with the new Disney Genie Service. Genie will take all of those top picks and create a personalized itinerary just for you and your family! He will even make live suggestions throughout your day. Another perk within the app is that you will be able to Mobile Order meals and even add your names to a walk-up list for select table service restaurants. This makes coordinating meals a breeze and both can be done while you're standing in line at your favorite attractions!

Rasha, I am so excited for you and your family! Make sure to take a few moments to slow down and soak in the time together. These are the moments that always stick with me the most. If you have any other questions, please stop by and see us again at planDisney!

    Keep wishing on those stars,
    Tara
