Welcome to planDisney, Jocelyne, and thank you for thinking of us for your extra special question!
I love the idea of a memorable trip to the 'Happiest Place on Earth' to honor the Bride-to-Be. Talk about friendship goals! I'm so happy to share a few suggestions for a bridal party celebration of your dreams.
My first recommendation is to consider booking the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Recently, I experienced this dining experience for the first time, and I happened to see a table of friends celebrating a bride in their party (noted by the veil she was wearing). I thought it was such a unique and memorable way to honor her, and I'm so glad I get a chance to recommend it to you now. This three-course breakfast includes an enchanting platter of hors d'oeuvres, an array of heartier buffet items, and a dessert tray of individual-sized sweets and treats, all themed after Disney royalty. At the moment, the meal includes one mimosa per adult over age 21, as well as unlimited downloads of
Disney PhotoPass images taken during your breakfast adventure (subject to change). In between courses, your group will be invited to visit with select princess characters in the courtyard area. Can you imagine the fun photos of your group together with your favorite Disney royals? This is a fairly popular experience, so I suggest making dining reservations as soon as possible, up to 60 days in advance of your visit.
If you are looking for some one-of-a-kind gifts, you might be interested in bridal-themed Minnie Mouse ears or hats like
this one. You may even be able to personalize a pair with custom embroidery at locations like
The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A. I also love the idea of getting a holiday ornament personalized with a hand-painted date, quote, or name at
Plaza Point or even ordering a piece of custom-engraved crystal, such as figurines, glassware, or a tiara befitting a true princess bride! You can request personalized engraving on gift items found at
Crystal Arts or
Cristal d'Orleans.
Since your visit dates will coincide with the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, you will have no shortage of vibrant bites and sips to try with your bridal party! The festival will feature culinary demonstrations, live music, and of course, the Festival Marketplaces offering a menu of limited edition dishes, signature cocktails, craft beers, and specialty wine. You might also enjoy my personal favorite dining location to enjoy an island-inspired cocktail (or mocktail) surrounded by the glow of tiki torches at
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. It's the perfect vibe for a girlfriends-getaway!
I have so many other ideas to share, Jocelyne, so please don't hesitate to
come back to planDisney if we can help offer some more recommendations for a fairytale come true for you and your bridal party.
Cheers to true love,
-Tishra
