Hello, I have a pirate pass that renews on October 27th. But I want to go to the parks on Columbus Day on October 13th. Can I cancel my old annual pass and get a new sorcerer pass on October 13th? I do not want to upgrade my current pass.

    Welcome to planDisney, Danielle!

I'm so glad to see that you'll be visiting Disney World later this year! I hope you're gearing up for a whole lot of fun and magic. Be sure to watch the Disney Parks Blog to stay current on all of the happenings during your upcoming trip! As an Annual Passholder, you should also watch the Special Offers Deals & Discounts page or the Annual Passholder page on the Disney World website as there may be ways you can save with your pass!

Currently, Annual Passholders can upgrade their Annual Pass into another category of Annual Pass up to 60 days before the renewal date for that pass. Danielle, this is what I would recommend you do for your Annual Pass. You can renew your Annual Pass up to 60 days early at any Walt Disney World Resort ticket window, online, or by calling the Annual Passholders phone line. (Extra Note: If you're renewing through the Monthly Payment Program, you will have to do this in person or by calling.) I would recommend doing this update on your Annual Pass as close to the 60 days out as you can, Danielle, so that you can make a Park Reservation for the day that you would like to visit.

If you have additional questions, we would love to hear from you again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
