Hello, I need help to planning my family vacation (2 adults, 1 senior, 9 years old, and 12 years old) please i need help. I would like to do one day per park

    Hello there, Zayda!

This Jersey girl is so thrilled that you found planDisney. I’ve visited the Walt Disney World Resort ever since I was a child and have planned all different types of vacations. My recommendation would be to have at least four days to visit all four theme parks. Everyone in your party will need a theme park ticket, a mode of entry (e.g., Disney MagicMobile Service, Magic Band, or a ticket from the ticket booth), and a theme park reservation for each day you plan on visiting the theme parks.

Before you purchase your ticket, check to see if your desired theme park reservation is available. Since you are traveling with five people and visiting the theme parks over four days, you’ll want to select four under “Select the Number of Days” and the Start Date of your four-day ticket. Next, I recommend selecting the “1 Park Per Day” ticket type because I’ve found park hopping is too much walking for seniors. Once you select your ticket type, you’ll be asked to select the number of tickets depending on the age range of your party. After you checkout, you will receive a confirmation email with your booking number, and you should be able to see the tickets appear under “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” in your My Disney Experience account. If your tickets don’t automatically appear in your account, you can link them to your account manually using the theme park ticket ID number found in your confirmation email.

Once you purchase your tickets, I recommend making your theme park reservation and setting up the Disney MagicMobile Service in the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device. Next, everyone in your party will need a My Disney Experience account. Whoever makes the account for young Jedi in your party will manage their account. Now that everyone has a My Disney Experience account, you’ll want to link your party to your Family & Friends List by selecting “Add a Guest.” After you link your party together, go to your Plans and Tickets to reassign tickets to your travel party.

I hope you found these bare necessities helpful. I always recommend playing around in the My Disney Experience mobile app to get comfortable with it before you arrive. I’m so glad you reached out to find your Happily Ever After.

May the magic be with you!
