Hello, I made a reservation in Feb'18 to visit WDW in Aug. I just updated my reservation for the free dining 4/24/18. Will I have to pay for parking or will WDW honor my original reservation date because it was before 3/21/18?

    Hi Isabel,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I'm sure you are looking forward to your Walt Disney World Vacation in August.

There is so much excitement to get ready for this summer, including the coolest and most fun big little backyard play space — Toy Story Land!

Isabel, I am happy to share that your original reservation date counts as a reservation date made before the overnight self-parking changed.

In checking with Guest Services, they confirmed for me that they use the first date you booked the reservation as the date you made the reservation. They confirmed that the overnight self-parking fee would not be applied to your reservation.

So now the big question is — what kinds of magic do you plan to enjoy on your stay? Classic and new attractions? Giving hugs and saying "hi" to your favorite Disney friends? Dining at all your delicious spots? Here's wishing you lots of magic with all of the above.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
