Hi there! It's always great to welcome fellow folks from Ontario to planDisney!
Sharing rooms at the
Disney Resort Hotels is a great way for friends and family to spend time together, enjoy the same perks and amenities and also save on having to book multiple rooms during their stay. When we had
our Disney Wedding this past January, several of our guests stayed together and figuring out the best way to split the cost was something they also wondering, as they too were flying in from different countries and paying with diverse currencies.
There's a couple things that come into play here that depend on who the primary guest on the reservation is, the method of payment they used to initially make the booking or even whether you're using the services of a travel agent. While some may find it simple to just hand over cash, transfer funds electronically between themselves or share payment information, in my opinion the best way that you can do this in our experience was using
Disney Gift Cards. These can be applied to
nearly anything here at Walt Disney World including theme park tickets and resort stays, and can even be
purchased in denominations ranging up to $500 instantly online. (Depending on where you purchase physical Disney Gift Cards in person, you may even find that
some retailers may have deals or points promotions to take advantage of throughout the year.)
Hope this helps; when it comes to planning a trip out to any Disney Destination, paying for it all in the end can sometimes feel like the least magical moment, but in the end I always prefer to keep it as simple and possible so you can spend more time enjoying your time down here enjoying the sunny weather!
And as the Wildcats sing in High School Musical: We're all in this together!
