Memory Maker is such a great addition to any trip to Walt Disney World Resort for so many reasons. There are so many great photo locations throughout the parks and different opportunities outside of the parks as well to get some spectacular shots with everyone in the picture. I also love how there are becoming more and more options to have special shots taken while you are experiencing many attractions. Thanks for your question about some of these details, let's jump in and review the process.
Amy, one of the biggest things you will have to do when it comes to ensuring you have access to these photos is to make sure you have your Memory Maker linked appropriately. As long as you can log onto your
My Disney Experience account, look under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section and look for the header "My Tickets & Memory Maker", you should see that you have it linked to your account. As long as you do, you are sittin' pretty right now!
While you are on the attractions, this is where the Magic happens! Not only will you be thoroughly involved in the epic storyline of the attractions, but you will also have your pictures instantly appear in your My Disney Experience account as you are riding. Disney has a way for this technology to interact with each other without us being involved or having to remember that we need to scan things and so forth. Just worry about having a great time and enjoying the company you are with while you are experiencing these attractions and Disney will do the rest!
Oh, and one more thing about Memory Maker, when you go through different PhotoPass locations throughout the parks, ask the PhotoPass Photographer about
Magic Shots. They usually have a way of making certain characters Magically appear in your photos with poses that will complement their actions. Great way to make your photos extra special!
