Hello, Joanne! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
I am a firm believer in using a stroller at the Disneyland Resort! My daughter is only 4 years old, but I intend to use a stroller for as long as possible. You are absolutely right that little legs get tired quickly and there is a lot of walking involved when you visit the parks. I've never seen a posted weight limit for strollers, but I did some research on Baby Jogger Q-Series strollers which are the type of strollers currently used at the Disneyland Resort. It appears as though the weight limit might be somewhere near 75 pounds. I have found these strollers to be extremely durable and sturdy, so I would imagine that a child might outgrow these strollers in height before they reach the weight limit. So, if your child is particularly tall, you might want to bring a stroller from home that you know they fit in comfortably.
Keep in mind that
strollers rented at the Disneyland Resort are for use in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. They cannot be taken to the
Downtown Disney District or the Disneyland Resort Hotels. One last tip, I would plan to bring a ribbon or buy a balloon to tie to your rented stroller to help you identify it in stroller parking.
Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again with any other questions. Thanks!
