Hello, I know you can use the Disney Gift Card on the cruise ship to pay off your onboard expenses on your stateroom. Is there a limit to the number of gift cards or the amount you use onboard? Thank you!

    Welcome Aboard, Ashley!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

Disney Cruise Line operates on a cash-free system, and all purchases will be applied to your Key to the World Card, which you'll be issued upon check-in at the Cruise Terminal. You are more than welcome to apply Disney Gift Cards to your stateroom account, which you can use to purchase Spa Treatments, Shore Excursions, Photos and Photo Packages at Shutters and onboard Merchandise. There's no limit to the number of gift cards you can apply to your account! You can also make a cash deposit to your shipboard account, or have a debit or credit card linked to your Key to the World Card.

When we have a Disney Cruise coming up, I like to ask for Disney Gift Cards for Christmas and my birthday. Santa left me a Disney Gift Card in my stocking last year - he must have gotten the hint from my husband!

I hope this helps answer your question. Please let us know if you have more questions as you plan your magical Disney Cruise Line vacation! - Diane W.
