Hello, I haven't been to Disney in about 10 years. We are taking our daughter for the first time who is 5. We are staying at the Grand Floridian and wanted to ask what are the top 5-10 things we should not miss in our 5 days there. I am rusty. Thanks!

Hey there, Marci! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. What a special trip you have planned for your little girl! Don't worry if you're a bit out of practice, we'll help you plan. It's what we do best!

You'll find lots of new things to do since your last visit, but your old favorites are still there, too. I love taking my son on some of the attractions I loved when I was young, like It's a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean. Here are some things you might like to try with your little princess:

New Fantasyland - The Magic Kingdom expanded a few years ago, adding new attractions and experiences like Under the Sea-Journey of the Little Mermaid and Be Our Guest restaurant.

Frozen - Meet Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom, or see For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Singalong at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Right inside your hotel you'll find Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room, a special experience for little ladies. You might also try a character meal like breakfast with Mickey and his pals at Chef Mickey's or dining with Disney Princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot.

There's a helpful page on the Disney website chock-full of ideas for preschoolers. I hope you've found something to spark your imagination, Marci. Wishing you a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
