Hi Linda!
One of the great things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that almost everything is
accessible to someone who requires an ECV!
Although there is
complimentary water transportation from
Disney's Old Key West Resort, it will only take you to
Disney Springs. If you would like to visit
Magic Kingdom Park, or any of the other theme parks, you will need to take the
complimentary bus transportation.
All of the bus, boat, and monorail transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort is accessible to guests using an ECV, however, there may only be room for one or two at a time. This means that during peak travel times, you may have a longer wait for transportation than others. Also, certain conditions like water levels may prevent you from using water transportation, but this is generally not an issue. You can speak to a Cast Member when you arrive at the dock who will be able to help you determine whether or not you will be able to board.
Even with the possible wait, having
complimentary transportation to the parks is an amazing perk that comes with staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and makes an already incredible vacation that much more magical!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
