Greetings, Jessica, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this festive question!
You're in for a real treat staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-
Riverside, I love the stately antebellum mansions, cozy backwoods cottages and scenic Sassagoula River where you can catch a Water Taxi to the redesigned
Disney Springs offering exciting dining, shopping and entertainment!
Disney's
Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is tops on my list for holiday decor, boasting the lifesize gingerbread house adorned with real gingerbread shingles and a massive, ornately decorated Christmas Tree where you can take your special photos. Visiting this Victorian Resort hotel in the early morning or late evening would afford you great views and photos. You can reach this Resort hotel via Resort Monorail from Magic Kingdom Park or Transportation and Ticket Center, or by Disney Bus Transportation from Disney Springs.
Disney's
Holiday Events and Celebrations include festivities at
Disney Springs where you can meet with Santa Claus, delight in the merriment and decor while enjoying live caroling, holiday music and performers. Don't forget to top your day with incredible shopping and not-to-be-missed dining.
Did you know about Disney Cruise Line's
Special Rates for Florida Residents? Now wouldn't that be the most magical "Land and Sea" vacation?
Best Disney Wishes for a pixie~dusted vacation, Jessica.
