Hi Lynne!
I'm thankful you've brought such an important question about planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation to planDisney. November is one of the most magical times to visit and the
holiday season is made even brighter when visiting with
Family and Friends.
I understand you're having some trouble viewing all things connected to a friend's
My Disney Experience account. I have a few tips that may solve this Stitch-uation. First, make sure that your friend's name appears on your
Family and Friends List in My Disney Experience. Next, click on their name and make sure "All My Plans" is selected. Now, instruct your friend to do the same from their account. That should allow you to see their resort information.
While you're at it, ask your friend to click "Update" next to their own name on their Family and Friends List and make sure "My Family and Friends List is Shared" appears. If it doesn't, they should click "Share My List." Once you've confirmed that your friend's Family and Friends List is shared, click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your Family and Friends List. All of the people on your friend's Family and Friends List should automagically appear for selection when "Find through my connected Guests" is selected. Once the individual(s) you select accept the email invitation to connect, you can view and make plans together as your settings allow.
If this troubleshooting does not fix the visibility problem you're experiencing, Lynne, a helpful Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ number is best equipped to diagnose the problem. If you have questions about all of the magical things you can do with your Family and Friends during your vacation,
planDisney's got your back!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
