Hello-I had a friend who told me that her son, who was 38 inches tall, could ride Big Thunder Mountain RR if he was with her; is that true? Also curious about CM making kids take shoes off to measure...is this true? Are they giving wristbands for kids?

    Hi Amanda:

I have a five-year-old and a four-year-old and have been traveling to Walt Disney World with them since they were infants.

Our boys were so excited to finally grow tall enough to be able to enjoy rides that require a 40 inch height requirement. Because the height restrictions are based on safety reasons, Cast Members have never let my children on rides where they didn't exactly meet or exceed the height requirement (even when my kids and I gave the Cast Members our best "sad" faces). Nor have I ever seen Cast Members make exceptions for any other Guests. Also, my kids have never been asked to remove their shoes when being measured.

    Enjoy your vacation.
