Ahoy, Sarah!
Before any Disney vacation, whether we're visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or sailing away on a Disney Cruise, I am a gatherer of Disney Gift Cards! To save for an upcoming vacation, I'll add a gift card when checking out at the grocery store, or pick one up whenever I have a little extra spending money. Before leaving on vacation, you can easily combine the balances of your Disney Gift Cards by visiting
disneygiftcard.com. First-time guests to the site will need to register before being able to enter gift card information and manage their card balances. Once registered, you can transfer the balances of all of your cards to one card - easy peasy!
When you complete your Online Check-In, you'll be asked to provide a valid credit card for your stateroom charges. Disney Cruise Line operates on a cashless system - all onboard purchases will be made using your Key to the World Card, which you'll receive when you check in at the port. You can use your Disney Gift Card to apply funds to offset your stateroom charges - you'll simply need to stop by the
Guest Services Desk in the lobby. Make sure to hang on to your gift card - any unused funds will be put back on the card at the end of your sailing.
I hope this helps with your plans and preparations for your cruise. May is just around the corner - I'm sure you're counting down the days until you set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew!
Thanks for stopping by with your question - have a magical day! - Diane W.
