    Hello, I am so excited to surprise my daughter (she's turning 5) with her first trip to WDW in 24 days! We have a handful of American Express pre-paid gift cards we hope to spend in the parks and at Downtown Disney. Will these be accepted forms of paymen

    YAY! A surprise trip! How fun.  I think that you will find that the vast majority of shops and dining locations will indeed accept American Express as payment. I don't know of any exceptions to this, but I suppose anything is possible! However, I would not hesitate to take them and assume that they will be accepted. Have a great time at my favorite place in the universe- the Walt Disney World Resort!
